In October 2024, we had the privilege of attending the Future Forces Demo Day in Coventry, UK. This inaugural event brought together key stakeholders from the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), leading industry primes, and pioneering startups to foster collaboration and accelerate technological adoption.

As the sole German startup present, we were honored to showcase our solutions alongside esteemed organizations, highlighting the importance of international cooperation between the UK and continental Europe.

What’s Driving Innovation? Insights from the Event

The event's theme, "Sense, Decide, and Effect," emphasized the need for technologies that enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness on the battlefield. We gained valuable insights into emerging trends and applications, including:

• Autonomous Platforms: The integration of AI and machine learning to enable autonomous vehicles and drones capable of processing, protecting, and transmitting data securely.
• Advanced Data Analytics: Utilizing back-end technologies to analyze data and support mission systems, thereby augmenting decision-making processes.
• Dual-Use Applications: Exploring technologies that serve both military and civilian purposes, promoting versatility and broader applicability.

These insights have inspired us to explore new avenues for our technology, particularly in developing solutions that align with the "Sense, Decide, and Effect" framework.

How We Contributed: Demonstrating Our Solutions

At our stand, we presented a live demo of our latest innovations, focusing on:

1. Vision-Based Navigation Systems: Designed for GPS-denied environments, enhancing UAV operational capabilities.
2. Real-Time Data Processing: Leveraging AI to provide immediate insights and support rapid decision-making.

Our participation not only showcased our technology but also facilitated meaningful discussions with defence leaders and industry experts, providing us with invaluable feedback to refine our solutions further.
